Tovatt architects and planners have together with Ekerö local authority produced an analysis and proposal for the development of Ekerö centre. The proposal is a vision for the future of the centre designed of Ralph Erskine, giving it the opportunity to develop the existing shopping centre which serves the local inhabitants. The proposal gives a solution for the traffic and infrastructure where the public transport is used as a trigger for the new developments.
