Tovatt Architects and Planners have together vid Ekerö Bostäder developed a plan for the extension of the resedential area for the site Tappström 3:1. The site is located close to Ekerö centre and a main part of the new buildings are placed along Ekerövägen, the main street connecting the island with Stockholm. The new buildings will create a street character along Ekerövägen and an inner environment with linked courts along the green hill

Some of the most important issues that the project deals whit are:

To create apartments and out door spaces with high quality in a environment close the heavy traffic on Ekerövägen

To solve parking and access to the areas as whole

To combine a, for the area, high density with the surrounding low scale buildings and to keep the green park qualities of the hill.
