After a stage by stage completion of the Masterplan in 2010 and a municipal acceptance of the urban design in December the second stage design work for an architectural concept commenced early 2011. Tovatt Architects and Planners have been commissioned to undertake this assignment and it has been done in collaboration with Paju Arkitektur & Landskap.

Stage 2 includes two carefully selected pilot schemes and a more elaborated landscape design across vital areas of the masterplan as well as a more detailed design for the central areas. This will establish key qualities and principles to be developed and implemented throughout the masterplan.
