B1 is a u-shaped urban block enclosing a communal space as well as clearly defined streets. The courtyard opens up towards the west and the evening sun over the Slavianka River. Underneath the courtyard is a parking level with entrance from a local street south of the block.The terrain slopes down towards the river, creating different relationships towards the streets and the park. Stairs, ramps and pergolas helps creating an intimate and safe environment on the courtyard without excluding sunlight and the close relationship to the park
