The theme of this invited competition was to study and to propose a solution to strengthen the relationship between Bagarmossen and Skarpnäck in the south of Stockholm. In our proposal we have worked with the streetscape and the landscape to establish a linkage between the two areas. The streetscape is generous and urban, framed by buildings and allowing cars, bikes and pedestrian to move. The landscape is a well defined park space inviting people to meet and to interact.

The existing generous nature areas have great qualities but they often miss the social aspect. In this project Tovatt Architects and Planners together with Paju Arkitektur och Landskap have made a proposal where a well designed park link provide spaces for activities and social activity in combination with carefully kept open nature and forests.
