Kristina Henschen

Architect SAR/MSA                                                                                 

Kristina Henschen qualified from The Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm in 1987. She also studied Architecture at the Royal College of Art (1995-96). She first began working for Ralph Erskine Architect and Planner in 1986 as an Architectural assistant and has since then worked with Ralph Erskine and Johannes Tovatt, with a couple of exceptions over this period.

During her time at the Erskine and Tovatt office she has worked with a range of urban planning and building projects in a range of European cities; Stockholm, Linköping and Gävle in Sweden, Stavanger and Oslo in Norway, Helsinki in Finland, Schiedam, Gorinchem and Middelburg in Holland, London in England and Dublin in Ireland.

 

Kristina became a partner of Erskine Tovatt Arkitekter in 2002 . She has been responsible for a number of complex projects including Tornet in Linköping, Stapolin Village in Dublin Ireland, Alderholmen Urban planning, Gävle. Kristina has developed the office Quality assurance plan.

In previous employment at FFNS sweco was joint project architect for the feasability design of Astra Pain Controls Laboratory Complex, Södertälje.

Kristina has an extensive career working with a large variety of projects with respected Swedish architects including: Lennart Bergström Arkitektkontor, Ahlqvist and Company, FFNS and Scheiwiller and Svensson.  Working at these offices Kristina has partaken in the design of a number of complex masterplanning and infrastructure projects.
