A series of semi private courtyards provide the proposal with a sense of community and security. The proposal represents a truly sustainable approach to construction. The timber framed buildings proposed address the issues of primary energy use, embodied energy, water use, construction time and cost, and other inherent issues associated with sustainable and efficient house building.
