Geoffrey William Denton

Geoff Denton graduated from Sheffield University School of Architecture and City Planning in 1986.

He joined Erskine Tovatt Architects and Planners in 1999 and is now a director. He has led the design of a number of prestigious projects including the Greenwich Millennium Village. Geoff has contributed to the design of a number of major masterplanning projects in Europe, including Amsterdam, Dublin, Prague, Helsinki, Stockholm, and London. He has experience in the redevelopment of cities creating more sustainable communities, including a wide range of environmental issues, with energy-efficient buildings and ecologically sound landscapes.

Geoff has lectured and taught at Stockholm University of Architecture and has written articles for A+U and is presently working on a publication of Ralph Erskines work.

Beginning his architectural career working with Fitzroy Robinson and Partners where he was involved in major commercial projects in the City of London including the Little Britain Office development, and the Daily Express HQ by London Bridge. His initial contact working in Sweden came when he joined Berg Architects; here he was involved in the design for Arlanda airport and the 20000-seat ice hockey stadium, Globen.  On returning to the UK Geoff Denton worked with David Marks Julia Barfield Architects, famed for the design of the London Eye. He was project Architect for the award winning Liverpool Watersports centre. Geoff has also worked with office, production and storage buildings for Astra Zeneca pharmaceuticals.
