The community and nursery buildings occupy a unique site in the Greenwich Millennium Village. Their placement is adjacent to the Southern park and the Ecological park and a short walk from the Village Square. This places the buildings in the heart of the Millennium Village where they rightfully should be.

The building’s placement gives an opportunity to create a court area protected from the prevailing north east-wind and taking advantage of a sunny South-westerly aspect and views across the parks to phase 1. From the outset of design it has been an intension to create buildings that enhance the masterplan while being in harmony with the Ecology park.
