Aron Swartz

Architect SAR/MSA

 

Aron Swartz graduated from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden in 2003. He studied architecture and art as an exchange student at Hokkaido Tokai University, Asahikawa, Japan. He has participated in post graduate studies within the Academy for Practise-Based Research in Architecture and Design (AKAD) and the Professional Development Programme "Step 1" organised by the Swedish Association of Architects,

He first joined Ralph Erskine Architect and Planners in 1999 as a student. Before his studies in architecture, Aron worked as an intern at Desmond Kaplan Architect and Planner in Yodfat, Israel; an office that had both Jewish and Arabic clients. In 2004 he joined the office again, now being run under the name Tovatt Architects and Planners.

During his time at Tovatt and Erskine, Aron has contributed to masterplanning projects in a number of European cities and in building projects in Sweden. His recent work as a project architect are an auditorium for Sånga-Säby conference centre and masterplans for Flygfeld Aspern in Vienna and Yuntolovo in St Petersburg. He works with early design stages and scheme design as well as with project coordination and detailed design
